The Embassy of Algeria in Helsinki has lowered the national flag to half-mast following the passing of the former President of the Republic and mujahid, Liamine Zéroual, in compliance with the Presidency’s declaration of three days of national mourning across the entire national territory and in all diplomatic missions abroad. On this solemn occasion, we extend our condolences to ourselves and convey our deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences to the Algerian people, praying that Almighty God grants the deceased His vast mercy, admits him into His eternal paradise, and bestows patience and solace upon his family and loved ones.
