Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with the Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development

As part of his official visit to the Republic of Finland, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks today in Helsinki with the Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Mr. Ville Tavio.

The meeting provided an opportunity to conduct a comprehensive review of the various aspects of economic cooperation between the two countries. In particular, both sides welcomed the encouraging outcomes of joint investment projects in the industrial sector, which have been marked by notable technology transfer and increased integration rates.

The discussions also focused on prospects for enhancing trade exchanges and strengthening investment partnerships between Algeria and Finland, building on the complementarity of their respective economic assets. Special attention was given to priority sectors for both countries, such as agricultural equipment, construction materials, mining, information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, and digitalization.
