Virtual Meeting of Algerian Professionals in Finland and Nordic Countries

The Embassy of Algeria in Finland participated in a virtual meeting, held via videoconference, that brought together Algerian professionals and experts residing in Finland and  Nordic countries

The meeting was attended by Mr. Sofiane Chaïb, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, and Mr. Nour Eddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, along with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Industry, as well as the Embassies of Algeria in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

Both the Minister and the Secretary of State listened attentively to the concerns of Algerian professionals residing in Finland and engaged in an open dialogue, addressing their questions and proposals aimed at strengthening the contribution of the Algerian diaspora to national development efforts.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of reinforcing communication channels with Algerian talent abroad and valuing their expertise and skills to contribute to building a knowledge- and innovation-based national economy, in line with the vision of the New Algeria, which seeks to involve all its citizens in the country’s comprehensive development process.
