The start of the election process for the members of the People’s National Assembly

Today, Saturday, 27 June 2026, voting for the election of members of the People’s National Assembly was launched at the Algerian Embassy in Helsinki, in a well-organized setting, with a turnout of members of the Algerian national community residing in Finland who came to exercise their electoral rights. The voting process will continue until Thursday, 2 July 2026, at the Embassy premises, every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This electoral process reflects the Algerian state’s commitment to enabling members of the national community abroad to exercise their constitutional right and to actively contribute to strengthening the democratic process and participation in national public life.
